Introduction

We are looking for a Senior Data Science with experience in developing and implementing machine learning models to solve business problems. As a Data science you will collaborate closely with our customer, Data Engineer, Project Manager and Business manager, to understand their needs, challenges and goals. You will have a deep understanding of machine learning methods, data mining techniques and statistical analysis tools.

Description of the position

This is a full-time role for a Senior Data Science at ThePineappleCo, with flexibility for remote work. As a Senior Data Science , you will lead and participate in technology projects that require advanced data analysis, predictive modeling, and AI-based solutions. You will be responsible for applying data science techniques and developing algorithms to extract valuable information from large data sets. Your experience in the design and implementation of models and your ability to communicate and present technical results effectively will be critical to the success of the position.

Responsabilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand project goals and data requirements.
  • Lead the identification, collection and preparation of relevant data for analysis.
  • Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and hidden relationships.
  • Evaluate and improve the quality of the data to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the results.
  • Interpret and present findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders and the management team.
  • Investigate and apply new techniques, tools and technologies in the field of data science.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to other team members, especially on analysis and modeling issues.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards throughout the project life cycle.
Profile Requeriments
  • University degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist in technological projects or related areas.
  • Extensive experience in the use of programming tools and languages such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning techniques, such as classification, regression, clustering, etc.
  • Experience in the design and development of predictive models and artificial intelligence solutions.
  • Knowledge of data science frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
  • Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools such as Matplotlib, Tableau, etc.
  • Ability to work with large data sets and perform complex statistical analyses.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical results in a clear and understandable manner.
  • High level of english is required. Spanish is a plus
