Introduction

We are seeking an experienced PMO to join our team and lead the Project Management Office for our technology projects. As a PMO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives, ranging from software development to infrastructure projects.

Description of the position

This is a full-time role for a Senior PMO at ThePineappleCo, with some flexibility for remote work.

As a Technology PMO manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of technology projects within our organization and our customers. You will play a crucial role in assisting in project planning, monitoring project progress, tracking budgets, and facilitating communication between project teams and stakeholders. You’ll help establish and maintain project management processes and standards, ensuring adherence to best practices. Your analytical skills will be key in identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies. With a focus on efficiency and quality, you’ll contribute to the successful delivery of technology initiatives, making a significant impact on our company’s and customer about project management practices.

Responsabilities
  • Establish and oversee project management processes, methodologies, and standards for technology projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Provide regular reporting and performance metrics to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Continuously improve project management practices, incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Mentor and guide project management professionals within the organization, promoting professional development.
Profile Requeriments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Project management Certification is required (PMP or similar)
  • Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a Technology PMO Manager.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal teams and clients.
  • Up-to-date knowledge About Project Management and best practices.
  • High level of english is required. Spanish is a plus
