We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master with experience in technological projects. As a Scrum Master you will collaborate closely with our customer, to understand their needs, challenges, goals, and facilitate them to cover systems gaps and boost value in their business and products.
Description of the position
This is a full-time role for a Senior Scrum Master at ThePineappleCo, with flexibility for remote work.
As a Senior Scrum Master, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating the agile methodology and ensure that the team achieves its objectives and delivers value efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with the development team, Product Owner, and Business Analyst to ensure successful implementation of agile methodologies and the delivery of the final product. Additionally, you will be a mentor to the team and continually promote best agile practices. He/She should have good teamwork attitudes.
Responsabilities
- Lead and facilitate daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner, Business Analyst and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure proper creation and prioritization of the backlog.
- Assist the team in setting realistic sprint commitments and maintaining a steady pace during development.
- Remove obstacles and resolve issues that may impact the team’s progress.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and self-organization within the team.
- Ensure the Business value deliveries timely and the final product with the expected quality.
- Provide guidance and support in implementing agile practices and development techniques.
Profile Requeriments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
- Extensive professional career in the management of technological projects.
- More than 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master in technology projects.
- Certification as a Scrum Master (e.g. CSM, PSM) is required. SAFe certification is a plus
- Broad understanding of agile principles and practices, as well as their application in different industries.
- Strong knowledge and experience with JIRA and other agile collaboration tools.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring Scrum teams, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Decisive & Problem solving attitude.
- Excellent facilitation skills in Scrum events such as sprint planning, daily, sprint review, and retrospective
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate and present to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ability to adapt to rapid changes and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High level of english is required. Spanish is a plus
